Here at Allstar Children’s Center, we utilize a unique, innovative approach to learning by offering a structured learning environment to enhance the development of the young brain, a curriculum that compliments current educational research of the best practices in working with young children/families, and lastly, the fundamentals of sports training.
We are a New York State licensed facility offering full day and half day academic programs, as well as morning and afternoon care. We focus on all-around childhood development and sports training. Our knowledgeable teachers follow Common Core and New York State Prekindergarten standards to prepare your child for kindergarten. Our small teacher to child ratios enable all of our students to receive the best education possible. Children receive the added bonus of learning fundamental skills through recreational sports clinics. All children ages 2-5 will enhance their fine and gross motor skills and excel through the combination of athletics and academics.
Encompassed in the children’s daily schedule is a sport curriculum that assists in both the development of the child’s fine and gross motor skills as well as growing the child’s psychological and sociological well-being. These skills have proven to transfer great success within the classroom.
Our daily sports activities are taught on our indoor turf field located adjacent to the children’s classrooms. The children are taught a variety of sports including soccer, lacrosse, yoga and tumbling as well as ice skating lessons on the NY Islanders state of the art ice rink.
